CLAT Syllabus
The CLAT syllabus includes the following five sections:
English Language: Focuses on comprehension and vocabulary.
Current Affairs and General Knowledge: Tests awareness of recent events and static general knowledge.
Legal Reasoning: Assesses the ability to apply legal principles to given scenarios.
Logical Reasoning: Evaluates the candidate's reasoning skills.
Quantitative Techniques: Involves mathematical problems and data interpretation.
The CLAT exam pattern includes the following key details:
Number of Questions: The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions.
Sections: The questions are divided into five sections: English, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
Duration: Candidates have 2 hours to complete the exam.
Marking Scheme: Each correct answer awards 1 mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.
CLAT 2025 is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of NLUs for UG and PG law programs.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India.
